Sterilization Classroom with Chuck Hughes!

Registration is Now Open for the THIRD 2015 Series Seminar.

Crosstex/SPSmedical is pleased to announce that the third installment of its 2015 Sterilization Classroom series with Chuck Hughes is available NOW!

"High-Level Disinfection (HLD) Record Keeping" educational program is FREE and will provide you with solutions to improve your department and better comply with industry standards.

At the end of this program, participants will be able to...

  • Explain the Spaulding classification system for the disinfection and sterilization of reusable medical devices.

  • Identify commonly used agents for high-level disinfection (HLD) of reusable medical devices and general safety considerations.

  • Discuss proper record keeping for HLD of reusable medical devices and the solution test strips which verify minimum recommended concentrations.

This is the third of four educational programs for 2015. Each installment is approved for one CE through multiple organizations such as IAHCSMM and CBSPD for sterile processing and CBRN for nursing professionals.

Certified as a Health Education teacher, Chuck Hughes has worked over 25 years in the manufacturing industry in areas of R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Microbiology, Marketing and Sterilization Training. A member of numerous organizations, including AAMI, AORN, CAMDR, CSA, IAHCSMM and OSAP, Chuck has extensive lecturing experience to medical device manufacturers and healthcare organizations around the world.
